Sia has taught research methods and statistical analysis at the University of Westminster and University of East London. Here he also conducted research on a number of topics such as zero carbon homes. He later worked as a freelancer and then joined the Research Academy.
Sia has worked with a range of education clients, charities, and FTSE 400 companies, such as Cambridge International Examinations, Chorus Entertainment, UPP Group, Action for Bow, the Policy Studies Institute, Schneider Electric, and Visa.
He has taught statistical analysis to postgraduate and PhD students, and designed bespoke statistics courses. He is currently Course Leader for the Research Academy’s MRS Advanced Certificate.
Sia is a Certified Member of the Market Research Society and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. He holds a BA in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an MSc in Market and Social Research from the University of Westminster.
Sia enjoys chocolate too much and is currently teaching himself to play the piano. But he refuses to learn how to read notes, so he just watches the hands of pianists on YouTube.
